My name is Megan.

Five years ago I arrived in Bellingham by way of Chicago, IL, where I went to school for fine art, psychology, and Spanish. A wide variety of studies, as my interests are also widely varied. But there have always been underlying themes: enjoying and creating beautiful things, connecting with the humans around me, and finding new ways to challenge myself.

As an artist, I am inspired by my environment—from the prairies I grew up on to the mountains that now surround my home. My goal is for my work to celebrate individual stories using characters, objects, and scenery. Throughout my portfolio you will see a mixture of fine detail and expressive marks; color and greyscale; paint and drawing. As you browse, look for ways your own story is reflected in these pieces.
